Who Am I: Justin, 34 years of age, professional IT guy, living in the Bay Area (California)
Hardware/Internet: Personally built AMD Phenom II X6 rig with 8 gigs memory. Running ATI Radeon HD 5800 series Graphics card. Also have some SSD’s in a striped array with a 4 disk 3TB raid-5 storage config. I have Business Class Comcast 10MB connection.
Armory:
What made you decide on your Spec, Gems, and Enchants: Mostly it comes from reading on the forums and also personal experience. EJ is a good resource, so is the battle.net forums. I also use wow progress and look at some of the top performing people in the game and try to interpret what they are doing as far as spec/gem etc goes and how they would apply that to their role.
Professions: JC 525 / Tailoring 525. I may dump them for Inscription and enchanting since JC will be devalued this patch, and the 80+ intel from Enchanting.
Guild/Raiding History: Played since vanilla, but didn’t raid at all back then. BCI mostly PvP’d with some raiding to assist the guild (warlock). WotLK I raided all content, on several toons. Played in a guild called iPuG on Proudmoore, and was RL. Ran as a DK tank (UH at the time), resto shaman and holy paladin. Did some HM’s. Cata, ran mostly Disc for 4.0 and 4.1. Went 2/13 with RDS on Bonechewer. Played several other toons in 4.0/4.1, but mostly with just pick up groups. Took a break for 4.2 and mostly leveled and PvP’d. Ran nerfed FL last night with your GM, went 6/7, had fun and I’m looking to get back to raiding.

Why I Am Applying to Escaper: I am really excited about the Deathwing Raid. I miss raiding and really want to challenge myself with progression and I want to do that with a similar minded guild. I really want to stay on Bonechewer and I think Escaper can be back at the top, where I too want to be.
Why Escaper Should Want Me: I am a smart player that is very versatile when it comes to the game. I feel that my experiences with both high level PvE and PvP, make me a very wise and aware player. I am very patient, and can handle progression like a fat kid handles cake.
What I Need To Improve: Shadow is my offspec, and I have not played it much lately. I feel like my disc rotation is solid, but I often find myself assisting other healers (raid) when I shouldn’t be, and sometimes that gets me behind in mana or healing. So I could improve my discipline (coincidental ) when fulfilling my roll.
The Hardest Lesson I Learned In WoW: The fact that I have almost 10 85’s on one server can attest to the hardest lesson learned. When the gets swung, I don’t qq on the forms. I respec or roll one of my other toons to fit the guild’s needs. I constantly read on mmo champ or the forums for class changes, so I can always be ready for the changes.
My Role in Raiding: To provide the guild with what it needs to progress. I can heal on 4 toons, 5 specs. I can tank on 3 toons. I don’t really prefer to DPS but I can if needed. I always adapt and do my best to keep on top of changes within the game.
