Who Am I: My name is Getty. I've been playing WoW since vanilla. I'm on vacation till June, so I have a load of time on my hands.

Hardware/Internet: CPU Type: Intel® Core™ i7 CPU 960 @ 3.20GHz
CPU Speed: 3.2 GHz
Video Card Model:ATI Radeon HD 5800 Series
Computer runs WoW on ultra smoothly, 60 fps while im writing this, and my internet has never failed me during raids.

What made you decide on your Spec, Gems, and Enchants: I like healing because I find it fun. I find healing fun more than DPS'ing during raids. My gems and enchants are based on what I read online. I try to get all the intellect i can from these. I try to increase my crit as well for bigger heals. What I've been doing gems and enchants seems to suit me well because I dont go OOM too fast and i heal well during raids.

Professions: 525 skinning/leatherworking - i have enough cash to replace any of these 2 and level it to 525 in a few days or less

Guild/Raiding History: I've been raiding with my old guilds since BC, but never got to end game with them. I joined a casual raiding guild in WOTLK with this toon, but this was really just to get into a core group for a 10 man. I've been raiding hardcore since WOTLK. When catac came out, I was raiding pretty casually for progression during tier 1. I left for a while and I'm back now and just found out that my old guild has disbanded. I think. Well its not on the armory anymore so I guess it has.

My Alts: Mapangetka 80 warlock, gettyceline 80 DK, and other low level alts

Why I Am Applying to Escaper: I am applying to Escaper because I'm looking for a guild that is serious in raiding. I took a few months break from WoW and i'm ready to get back now. It has actually been a long time that i've wanted to apply to Escaper. I know of Escaper's reputation on the server and I wanted to join for a while since then. I want to be able to down end game content with a guild that works together, not some random people you find on the raid finder or on trade chat.

Why Escaper Should Want Me: I work hard to do my best during raids. I listen well to the leader. When im told to shut up, i shut up. I am dedicated to this game and always try my best to keep up. I usually get along well with others during raids and I am able to do what is expected of me.

What I Need To Improve: I need to learn how to use my money to my advantage. I usually get a load of gold, and I know that I should spend it to have better gear/enchants/gems but I usually just use my money to get the cheaper choice. I think i also need to learn how to manage my time properly. Sometimes i'd just be randomly flying around the city reading what people are talking about on trade chat, instead of doing some heroics to get points. I shouldnt be wasting my time reading useless stuff, but instead should be trying to improve my gear

The Hardest Lesson I Learned In WoW: Not everyone will be what you expect them to be. It really pisses me off when a raid leader says that he plans on downing like 5 bosses and we end up doing just 2 because he doesnt get the right people and we wipe for hours on end. Another lesson that I have learned in WoW and can actually apply to my real life is that there will always be someone better than you. No matter how high and mighty you think of yourself in a raid, there will always be someone that can beat you at what you do. Just do the best you can and the best of your abilities.

My Role in Raiding: I am a healer. Pretty much it. I have an offspec but i keep it around just for doing dailies. I can start gearing up my dps spec if it is needed by the guild.

I've been planning to replace skinning with jewelcrafting for a while now. The skinning helps alot with my LW but at this point in the game, its pretty easy to get your hands on the leather just by buying it. Wanted to get JC because of the extra stats from the gems you can make for yourself. These will obviously help in my healing.

What I really meant by being on vacation is that I have a lot of time, as in, I'm gonna have way too much time on my hands and be online to do more things. Once i get off the vacation I can still make the raid times, its just that I wont be online as much on other than these times. I can commit to the raid times, but I wont be able to be online as much as I will be after the break. Honestly say I can commit to the raid times of the guild even after my 3 month break. You can count on me to be online during raid schedules.

Hello and welcome to our forums.

First off I like your enthusiasm on getting into progression raiding and being willing to change professions if needed. Unfortunately your gearing is a touch under where we need it to be right now. Currently your mostly geared in normal Firelands gear and we are pushing heroic Dragon Soul. that is basically a jump of about 1.5 tiers in gear. I'm not saying that this alone will disqualify you, but it is a major concern.

Looking at your history on this toon I only see heroic experience during ICC and much of that appears to be post Cata launch. I'm not trying to be rude or anything, but you have to see how this doesn't look good when applying to a guild that is all about current heroic content.

You won't be happy if I'm not happy....DON'T MAKE ME ANGRY.

Gonna withdraw my application for now. Think it isnt really time for me to apply yet. Gonna try to get some better stuff and get more experience, then I might plan on applying again. Anyway, thanks for the consideration. Still think your guild is awesome
