Who Am I: In-game Name: Ophios

My name is Will (Nick name Bill) I currently live in Minnesota, I am 18 years old.

Hardware/Internet:

Gateway DX300 with a AMD Phenom 9750 quad core processor 2.40GHZ The internet is hooked right into the modem, so i have a great internet connection.

What made you decide on your Spec, Gems, and Enchants:

Took some of my spec from Elitest jerks website (really helpful) I would go on the forums and check some high geared raiders specs and take some from that. I chose the enchants that were of the highest tier i could get of course, same with the gems.

Professions: 525 Enchanting 525 mining each give 120+ stam

Guild/Raiding History:

During Wrath of the Lich King (When i started raiding) I was in the guild that leveled me, it was an extremely casual guild and raided only once a week. Going into cataclysm the guild broke up and i joined a friends guild (Irl friends) this was also a casual guild, we got 10/12 tier 11 and 5/7 Tier 12. We soon had attendance issues to where we cannot even raid anymore, So i have decided to leave the guild and join a different guild with the same interests as mine, make progression while having fun.

My Alts: All of my alts are on the Dalaran server my only other 85 is a hunter named Dabzok.

Why I Am Applying to Escaper:I am Applying for reasons stated above but i am leaving my guild because of attendance issues and my IRL friend quiting wow leaving me no attatchments to my guild. I went on a guild hunt and I have found a guild that seems like a fit to me and seems like a place i could call home. I want a guild who cares about their progression and a guild that can raid and have fun at the same time.

Why Escaper Should Want Me: You wanted a tank you got one

. I think you should want me because, I have common sense i put time into this game and I care about other things other then raiding such as helping out guildies, running battlegrounds and arena teams :mrgreen:

What I Need To Improve: If there was one thing I could improve on are my mastery (mostly due to the fact that i am using 2 stamina trinkets at the moment. Leading to the second thing i could work on is working on dailies in Tol'barad for the 359 resist.

The Hardest Lesson I Learned In WoW:

Many things in this game change so i have learned to not to stay so attached to the gear I had back in wrath and to not take gear by ilvl, take it upon the stats

My Role in Raiding:

I am specced for Protection and Ret both geared Prot being 373 and ret being about 368, I have led raids before so i have experience helping out raiders if they have a question or too as well

PS. I will gladly switch to ret for some encounters or change my spec for what the raid needs.

As an 18 year old, I'm concerned about your availability. If you're living at home with your parents are they going to be a problem when you're required to put in lots of time raiding? What is your occupation status - is it possible that this might change in the near future? Are you in school and your class schedule may change so that you're unable to raid with us? If you are working for a company, is it probable that your work hours may change so that you're unable to raid?

How do you plan on making up for your lack of progression experience?
How comfortable are you with Ret and Holy? Do you have gear for both?

DPS, Tanks, DPS/Heals

My times i should be on mostly are 3:00 pm (central) through 11:00 or 12:00 if needed. My availablity should be fine. And I'm not holy I dont have gear for it either, so please dont expect me to heal, Tank and dps

. Now, my raid experience I have watched the fights but yes i am only 5/7 (due to my old guilds attendance, no one was ever on. I have the skill to learn a fight, its scripted right

? I am also currently unemployed. So that should not interfere with the raid schedule.

Ah the weekend. Sorry for the slow responses.

I see that you have never really done much in the way of heroic progression, other then ICC. Can you explain why this it?

You have yet to make attempts on Rag. There are a few key points in the fight where you will most likely go without heals for a few seconds while everyone is positioning. Do you know when this might be?

Have you started to look up the fights for heroic modes?

I have not done heroics in Cataclysm due to me joining a casual guild and taking raiding slow, I want to get back into raiding. I have looked up the fights for Heroic Shannox and Heroic Rhyolith.
